Children's Classes at Our Center:

Our store hosts the Andy's Parties Kaleidoscope Enrichment Classes for kids (Click here for Printable (PDF) Registration Form! Each Kaleidoscope class session is customized for your group - you pick the program and duration!  We can come to you, or you can come to our Center! 

 Please add $20 total/week if our instructor travels to your location!

Andy's Parties Children's Enrichment Class Descriptions:

Kaleidoscope Adventures Class - A unique take on our terrific theme parties, with an educational twist! Each themed adventure includes an imaginative craft activity, costume dress-up time or character-building activity, music, movement activities, and storytime, all intertwined with an age-appropriate and fun educational lesson. Developed in cooperation with teachers, our Adventures each emphasize a broad subject area such as science, history, arts, or reading. Your child will leave each class with a completed craft and a take-home packet of "rainy-day" activities to reinforce that week's lesson. Some adventures also include special themed goodies! Weekly. Currently available for ages 3-5 and 5-7.  See our Create-a-Class information for rates.

Kaleidoscope Chronicles Book Club Program - Focusing on one theme for several weeks, we bring books alive for the children in this interactive class. Book selections will be announced at the beginning of each session and a different theme will be explored each month! Any student can read the book ahead of time if you like, but for the younger age groups, we'll always read it together at the beginning of class. Following our reading, we'll conduct several fun, related activities to bring the story to life - playacting, singing, dancing, and crafts! Currently available for ages 3 (board books), 4-5 (poetry and short books), 6-7 (poetry and short books), 8-10 (chapter books will be provided; 1 book per session, and a special movie party night will be held for class #7 for this age group!). Kaleidoscope Mommy & Me Playgroups - For our youngest clients, our Mommy & Me Playgroup is an opportunity for babies to play and parents to chat. Each class includes music and dancing, movement activities, a focused free-play, parachute play, exploration activities, puppets or finger play, storytime and more! We also provide take-home ideas and activities to continue the creative play and nurturing at home! Clases for older babies focus on certain themes - such as colors or animals!  Weekly.  Currently available for various age groups 2-42 months.  See our Create-a-Class information for rates.

Clubs -  Our Tea-Time Storytime Club is our newest hit!  Tea-time club members (ages 1-5, no drop-offs) have a picnic snack, storytime, a craft, and playtime in our playroom. 

Open Play - Need a fun, safe, indoor play space? Reserve our playroom for a private playgroup! We have creative-play toys appropriate for ages 0-5! No drop offs.  $30 for an hour; $40 for 90 minutes.  Up to 15 children.

Private Playgroups or Meetings - Playroom also available for private rental for playgroups and meetings (no parties however, unless it's an Andy's Parties package!).

Each day your child will enjoy:

• Brief exploration time in our fun playroom
• Themed Adventure (from our Kaleidoscope Adventures Curriculum) - complete with craft activity, character-building or dress-up activity, movement games
• Snack time
• Themed Chronicles Session (from our Kaleidoscope Chronicles Curriculum) - brings a book to life with story reading, age-appropriate reading analysis, crafts, movement games
• Show-n-tell Wrap-up activity
• Your child will enjoy a great theme party on the final day of camp that recaps the lessons learned throughout the week!

Enrollment is limited to 12 children per age group per week - please register early! Parents are welcome to stay and watch!

Weekly Mini-Camp fee ($195 per child - OR - $150 early enrollment before 2/1/10) includes:

• All classroom materials and supplies
• Take-home activity packets and parent summaries
• Themed take-home creative play materials (such as costumes, props or toys)
• Daily snacks and juice (fruit, pretzels, 100% juice)
• End-of-week party with treats and goodie bag

• Follow I-270 south to exit 11 (Quince Orchard Road)
• Turn right onto Quince Orchard Road heading west
• Go through the intersection at Great Seneca Highway
• Turn left onto Kentlands Blvd.
• Turn right onto Main Street (you'll be in a roundabout)
• We are located at 422 Main Street. Parking is available on the street in front of our store, or in the parking lot behind our store.

From the South:

• Follow I-270 north to exit 9 (Sam Eig Highway)
• Exit onto Sam Eig Highway heading west
• Sam Eig Highway dead-ends at Great Seneca Highway
• Veer right onto Great Seneca Highway
• Turn left onto Kentlands Blvd.
• Go through the roundabout and proceed up Kentlands Blvd until you reach the intersection with Whole Foods grocery store and Michaels craft store on your left
• Turn left onto the unnamed street in between the Whole Foods and Michaels parking lots
• Our parking lot (and back door) are behind Michaels
