Great Kids Village is a 24,000 square foot indoor playspace for kids up to age 10 that Andy and Paula took over in November 2009!  Complete with a REAL firetruck, ambulance, replica jeep, giant sandbox, puppet theatre, mini-grocery store and more, your child will have an incredible time playing with us!  Drop-in play, fundraisers, field trips, cafe, toystore & registry, "neighbor"ship program, classes, camps, special events and more!!  Check out www.greatkidsvillage.com!

We will be offering drop-in classes with a punchcard, but each class session can also be customized for your group - you pick the program and duration!  We can come to you, or you can come to our Center!

Create-a-Class Program 8 wks - up to 12 children 12 wks - up to 12 children
Mommy & Me Programs - various themes and programs available for children ages 6 mos to  2 1/2 yrs.  See descriptions below. $170/wk for group $140/wk for group
Kaleidoscope Chronicles Book Club Programs - various themes for children ages 3-10.  See descriptions below. $150/wk for group $120/wk for group

Each day your child will enjoy:

  • Exploration time in our HUGE playroom
  • Themed Adventure (from our Kaleidoscope Adventures Curriculum) - complete with craft activity, character-building or dress-up activity, movement games
  • Snack time
  • Themed Chronicles Session (from our Kaleidoscope Chronicles Book Club Curriculum) - brings a book to life with story reading, age-appropriate reading analysis, crafts, movement games
  • Show-n-tell Wrap-up activity
  • Your child will enjoy a great theme party on the final day of camp that recaps the lessons learned throughout the week!

Enrollment is limited to 12 children per age group per week - please register early! Parents are welcome to stay and watch!

Weekly Mini-Camp fee ($175 per child - OR - $150 per child early enrollment discount before 2/1/10) includes:

  • All classroom materials and supplies
  • Take-home activity packets and parent summaries
  • Themed take-home creative play materials (such as costumes, props or toys)
  • Daily snacks and juice (fruit, pretzels, 100% juice)
  • End-of-week party with treats and goodie bag

Weekly Full-Day Camp fee ($250 per child - OR - $225 per child early enrollment discount before 2/1/10) includes:
  • Everything offered in the mini-camp plus lunch, afternoon snack, sports program, with 3 more hours of fun!

Directions

 

From I-95:

  • Take I-95 North to Exit 41 (Little Patuxent Pkwy/Rt 175 West to Columbia)
  • Go about 2.5 miles and take a left onto Dobbin Road
  • We are less than 1 mile down the road on the right - PlayWiseKids
  • Parking is available in front and in back of of our store, and overflow parking is available across the street at Loyola College.

From the West (Frederick, MD):

  • Take I-70 East toward Baltimore
  • Take Exit 87A to merge onto US-29 South toward Washington/Columbia
  • Take Exit 20A to merge onto Little Patuxent Pkwy/MD-175 toward Jessup.
  • Turn Right on Dobbin Road
