Kid Stuff

My wife Paula is addicted to the DC Urban Moms listserve - she refers to it for everything from advice on strollers and preschools to pediatricians and to find outings for the kiddos.   There has recently been a long thread about birthday parties, goody bags and the like on the listserve that we’ve been talking about and following with interest.  We can’t help but have an interest in parents’ comments about the necessity of having a party for your kid and the amount/quality of goodie bags to give out.

I apologize for the lack of posting. Ironically, it seems that people actually do read this blog - many prospective clients have known lately that I have a baby from reading this blog, so that’s great - I’ll make sure to check my punctuation better. I think that every business owner should write on a blog so you can learn more about the mindset of the ownership - true, most of my posts are about nothing important, but at least you can make a more informed decision about hiring my company by reading a bit of my nonsense…

If you voted July 1, take a bow. We had our little boy on Tuesday evening and Alexander William weighed in at a healthy 8lb 13oz. He was a big boy, but was ready to visit the world as labor was only 4+ hours from the time we reached the hospital. Mom and baby are doing wonderfully - (both are sleeping as I type, for those of you who are saying “Why are you typing on the first day home from the hospital???).
