Is it just me, or are there too few ideal preschool programs compared to the number of interested families?  Is it just in Suburban DC or is it near you, too?  As a parent of a preschooler, we all want a program where our child is getting a terrific academic foundation, with excellent music and arts programs, physical activities, outdoor play, some exposure to foreign language, all with caring, nurturing, and qualified teachers that are appreciated by their management.  Oh...and we shouldn't have to sell body parts to cover tuition and be threate

Are you one of those moms that balances you kids’ social lives, school, extra classes, your own work schedule, social life and household, and your husband’s schedule to-boot?  Do you make playdates, pediatrician appointments, important conference calls and a yummy dinner all in the same day and still survive to play with legos, do laundry, and commit to potty training your toddler before the bath/bedtime routine? Should you be wearing the red cape and mask in secret supermom disguise, lest all the rest of us accost you all day for advice?

So, I just saw the post about holiday cards…I’m SO not prepared to be thinking about the winter holidays yet!   While I will definitely send a card to the troops at Walter Reed (great idea, Deb.), I’m still harping on Halloween!!   We had SO much fun on Halloween this year.  The 1st annual Halloween Rocks!
