Hannah Montana

I’m not sure how much you know about her, but ask your average 4-14 year old and they will talk your ear off for an hour. I wouldn’t dare go up against any kid (or Andy) in a Hannah Montana trivia game. She is huge! So huge that advance tickets to a Hannah Montana concert were being sold for $1200 in the DC area! The DJ’s on the radio show that announced this thought it was insane, and so do I. She’s just a 14 year old girl with a blonde wig and a microphone, right? I have to admit that I do like her songs. When I am at a party the kids think it is hilarious that I can sing every word. She is likeable, has a somewhat decent voice, catchy music, and positive messages. I understand why she is so popular. I just can’t get past this whole $1200 per ticket thing. I know that everyone wants to make their kids happy, but where is the line? I would love to hear what people think about this. I would also like to know if any of you are planning to take your kids to see Hannah Montana in concert. If you are, do you want to take me?
