Now that I’m a dad, I’m finding myself “eating crow” much more than ever before. What was “It’s terrible parenting to have your baby sleep even one night in your bed” is now “I’m tired, bring the kid into bed so we’ll all sleep a little.” What was “I’ll never pay $1,000 per month to drop my kid off at daycare” is now “$1,000? Is there a waitlist or can we sign up on the spot?”

So, I turned 30 today. What that means, is some of you are saying “Wow, you’re old!” and some are saying “Wow, you’re young,” but everyone seems to take an extreme. Well, to put things in context, if you remember the day that Saturday Night Fever debuted in theatres, you probably think I’m young. Hi - Those of you on our DC mailing list hopefully are already enjoying “Great Kids News” each month. Great Kids News is a themed newsletter that focuses on a different theme each month. This month is Winter/Holidays Month, November was Pirate Month, and October was Halloween Month.
